Clean & Clear Deep Action Exfoliating Scrub

Hello my lovelies!Β πŸ’–

I realise that since I love putting make up on I must remember to take care of my skin. Most skin care routines I see involve a lot of oils and oil based products. For me that’s a big no! As I have mentioned before I have substantially oily skin so I don’t like any additional oils. I don’t really enjoy looking like a little greaseball, haha!

One day when I was in the pharmacy section at my local supermarket, I came across some Clean & Clear facial scrubs. The one that instantly caught my attention was the one that had the words “OIL-FREE” at the front.

The scrub is designed to perform deep cleansing down to the pores to strip it of dirt, excess oil and residual make up. When applied to the face it creates a cooling sensation since it contains menthol. I usually massage it all over my face and leave it on for a couple of minutes before rinsing it off with cool water.

What I like most about it is the tiny micro-scrubbers that help to extract impurities from the skin. Since it is advertised to be suitable for everyday use, I appreciate that the beads are not scratchy. I don’t like using abrasive products regularly as they can eventually cause teeny cuts where bacteria can enter and therefore result in a breakout of acne.

After using this scrub my face feels clean, refreshed and smoother. I definitely recommend it for daily use as it is a mild scrub and the micro-scrubbers won’t scratch your delicate skin. I like this because it removes any excess oils as I do have very oily skin. However, if you have dry skin, I don’t recommend it. If you are looking for a “rough” facial scrub, this isn’t for you. As I said before, I personally don’t like rough products for everyday use.

Well, if you decide to try out this scrub I really hope it works well for you and you enjoy it. I have very sensitive skin and I haven’t had a reaction to it even after using it for about 2 months now.

Do you all prefer products with oils or without oils?
